Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess in a kingdom. Beside pretty, she also smart, kind, and wise. So every prince wanted to marry her. Of course, she really wanted to procure the best prince, but she really confused to determine her decision because they were good at all.
One day, the princess had an idea. She invited all the princes who wanted to marry her to her kingdom. She gathered them in the kingdom hall and stood in front of the hall to make an announcement.
“Thank you for your arrival in this place. Actually, I invite all of you to determine my choice. I will choose one from the entire prince here to be my prince. I like the honest and kind prince. I really like the one who help anyone need his help. So, I will ask to you about one thing. Who have helped the old man on the way to this kingdom?” the princess asked. Almost all of the princes there admit that they had helped the old man.
“Wow! Almost all of the princes here are kind-hearted. It makes me so confused to choose one of you. But, I want to know who haven’t helped the old man? Are there?” asked the princess. The situation in the hall became so quiet until suddenly a prince stood up and admit that he haven’t helped the old man. The princess smiled.
“I was found my prince. My prince is the prince who stood up there,” said the princess. The other princes protest to the princess. So, the princess explained about that thing.
“I have said that I like the honest prince. I have ordered my soldiers to guard the way to this kingdom so that not passed by anyone except my invited princes. So, it’s impossible if there is an old man who asked for help. I just want to test your honesty and now I was found my prince, the honest one!” explained the princess. The prince was very happy. The other princes felt ashamed to their selves, but secretly they admired the princess cleverness.
Finally, the princess found the best prince for her. They got married and lived happily ever after.
